Detecting the First Abnormalities with the Naked Eye – Visual Inspection
Before all other tests that check the sterile barrier of a package for safety comes the simplest test: the visual inspection. It is the most cost-effective variant for detecting irregularities at the seal seam.
Visual inspection in accordance with ASTM F1886 / F1886M quickly reveals whether the test specimen has leaks, channels in the seal seam or other visible abnormalities under certain criteria. Additional visual criteria can be specified by you. We will then include these in our inspection specifications.
Label check on request
Labels and tags serve as important information carriers and must be visually and digitally legible over the entire period of use of the products. We also offer a visual inspection for this area, which can be adapted by the customer to include further criteria. In addition, the combination with further integrity tests is advisable, because only a comprehensive inspection excludes all sources of error and prevents the discovery of these errors in the further production process.
