Real-time aging according to ASTM F1980
We verify your durability specifications while the earth keeps turning
A product is stored with us until the service life (shelf life) defined by the manufacturer is reached. This takes place under monitored and controlled climatic conditions, which are also specified by the customer.
The aim of storage: to prove that the product remains sterile, as specified by the manufacturer, until the end of the stated shelf life. Real-time storage is also mandatory if the "accelerated aging" test procedure has been commissioned. This namely is only valid if the real-time storage verifies the obtained results.

Test sample description as basis for tender preparation
Based on the selected parameters like:
- Real-time storage temperature and relative humidity
- Storage time
the price is determined based on the volume to be tested. The external dimensions and the number of test samples are required to prepare the quotation.
Standards: Real-time aging
- ASTM F1980
- DIN EN ISO 11607-1, paragraph 8.3: Stability test
- DIN EN ISO 11607-2
The test takes place in laboratory rooms with constant climate.
Laboratory storage with constant climate takes place at controlled 23 °C and 50 % relative humidity. If sufficient, real-time aging takes place at monitored room temperature. Offers are made for 1 year each, when the year has expired, renegotiation takes place.
